Last year we planned, pondered and planted our gorgeous Serenity Garden into being, so here’s a look at what’s happened in the space of a year…

New paving has been laid to provide structure and a place to sit. The pond has finally been filled with water and a fountain now plays in it. The lighting illuminates key areas, including the central figure of St Jean Baptiste de la Salle, bringing a new mood to the garden as dusk falls. A generous benefactor has provided us with beautiful wooden benches, providing further seating for students and staff looking for a few moments of quiet or somewhere to chat during the busy school day.

Further planting has been on going, with new borders, some very smart pots and a climbing rose in the cherry tree.

None of this would have happened without the dedication of the grounds staff, students and Mrs SJ, making this one of the picturesque areas in our wonderful grounds.
